Recently I have started to hear a very low humming noise, but only at night. I’ve had tinnitus in my right ear since I was about 10 or 11, my brother has it too and so it seems genetic, anyways, this has never really bothered me. I’ve never had real bad tinnitus, but I do have it slightly stronger in the left ear than the right, no great deal, but it can be noticeable. I’ve had loud ringing since December 09 in my left ear. Has never really bothered me, but two years ago (I’m not sure what came first) I got this this huge pain in my neck, the day after, after I got home from work my hearing in my left ear went mental, slight loss of hearing, high pitched noise wen listening to people speaking, the high pitch noise is now gone thank god, but now I’m left with hearing what sounds like my heart beat, iv been to the tinnitus clinic, both tinnitus and glue ear we’re ruled out, so i was at a loss as to what to do until i stumbled on this site, was wondering, with upper cervical treatment with the pro adjuster, could this help?. My tinnitus is always worse when I’m trying to get to sleep and that’s when I get anxious. He speaks very loudly, but I have 25-30 in my right ear and 75-80 in my left ear. I’ve had T for over ten years, but it doesn’t bother me anymore.
In the meantime don’t dwell on your tinnitus or it will only appear to get worse. The last test i had confirmed a loss of 14.5 in my left ear and 10.5 in my right ear. I get this in both ears but it’s worse in my left I assume because my hearing loss is worse in my left. I’ve had it for around 2 years now, one day I just woke up with it and it hasn’t stopped since. It only really bothers me at night, when it’s really quiet. I’ve always had it come and go in one ear, and it only lasted for a few seconds. If I plug my ears with ear plugs for example, the perceived loudness of the tone is amplified dramatically as all external stimuli have been squelched and all that’s left to perceive is the tinnitus ringing. Sometimes it’s the same noise on both ears, but mostly they’re a little different.

I’ve had a morce code high pitch ringing in my right ear only for 8 days continually now, I’ve not been poorly nor have I listened to loud music.
