The buzzing in my head feels more than a noise,it’s like an electric current

It’s the same old thing, like everyone else I can see and hear but I can’t move. This could make it more likely to wake up outside of REM.)In regards to the buzzing, others definitely experience the same thing and I’ve heard accounts of the noise and the electricity tingling feeling a fair bit. Buzzing in my ears and an electrical current going through my body. First, the electrical feeling, then heard the electricity sounds in my head (Almost the sensation of hearing a power lines), the short split seconds I couldn’t move and I knew if I didn’t move around, it would take over. Then I’m freaking out because I feel like my head is being electrocuted. It causes pressure between the eyes, buzzing noise when we sleep. It is more like a ringing across the brain. Each nerve hair is tuned to a particular frequency of sound and excites only certain neurons in the auditory cortex. Neurons do more than just relay signals forward into the brain. They take advantage of the fact that every time neurons send each other signals, their electric current creates a tiny magnetic field. It fixes temporary hearing loss in ears when it feels full.

The buzzing in my head feels more than a noise,it's like an electric current 2People are much more likely to experience zaps from Paxil than Prozac (with a longer half life of several days). The zaps feel like jolts of electricity through the head, neck, or other areas of the body such as the spine, arms, and/or legs. It was just like a mild buzzing sensation in my head for maybe 5 seconds. I hear the zap and it’s always at the front of my head and my eyes seem to shoot upward. It’s just in my brain. it’s like I feel the electrical synapse. Hi I also get the buzzing in my head and dizziness and balance problems! Then, my head buzzes and pulses like an electric wire. I get a surge of energy from chest to brain which causes me to breathe in heavily and gives me a ringing noise in my head, the feeling is very hard to explain. I am going through the most stressful time of my life trying to adjust to college and all of the work.

I feel it in both my ears and its like a build up and starts to buzz, then the loud sound, almost like an atilm bomb or nuclear bomb goes off and I wake up but my ear drums still feel alittle weird and pressured or constricted. Like most, I just hear a very loud blasting sound which makes me jump up & look around & wonder what the hell just happened. It’s like a loud buzzing sound for me, like someone switched on an electric razor for 2 seconds. It felt like an electrical current or hot water rushing through my head in a tube / channel but now comes as a wave of pressure engulfing the left side of my head. The buzzing in my head feels more than a noise,it’s like an electric current. For me i now realize that this along with the loss of breathing and movement, is not going to kill me so i don’t tend to worry about it anymore. Brain zaps, brain shivers, brain shocks, head shocks or electrical shocks are a common side effect and withdrawal symptom from antidepressants. The symptoms are described as brief but repeated electric shock-like sensations in the brain and head, or originating in the brain but extending to other parts of the body. In withdrawal from antidepressants, sleeping pills or anxiety medications, these jolts of electricity can worsen and become debilitating, although there is no current evidence that the zaps present any danger to the individual, the serotonin antidepressants appear to be linked to brain zaps, as do anxiety medications and sleeping pills that target GABA. Many antidepressants hold serotonin for longer periods of time than which naturally occur in the brain, possibly causing a misfire or ‘brain zap. See More Posts.

Brain Zaps: Causes & Treatments For Electrical Shock Sensations

I have a pretty constant ringing in my ears (only when I'm really paying attention though) 3It’s like a slow electricity is vibrating down my entire body, but its worse with my head. It seems the more active or busy my brain feels, the more likely I am to feel this and it feels like it’s getting rid of some of the extra electric activity. I am interested in talking with anyone who has these weird electrical current sensations in their body to find out if they were diagnosed. Ok so that was then. It may sound like a ringing, buzzing, humming or hissing. Personally, I experience it as a low, two-toned, (diatonic), humming, almost like a distant electric motor first pulling its start-up load, then settling into its regular running pitch. I do not hear the tinnitus above these more pleasant sounds, so I can fall asleep in peace. That is my solution. People have been known to go through horrible operations, deliberately rendering themselves deaf, all to no avail, because the sound is not arriving via your ear canal and hitting your eardrum–‘all in your head’–remember? My body starts to get this strange feeling through out it and then my head starts to thrash about and twitch. In most cases I know of, it’s usually caused by a chemical inbalance caused by drugs. I’ve been taking it for a long time now, and I keep having these annoying ringing noises, accompanied by a feeling like a mild electric shock, in the back of my head. It felt like the entire room was spinning, and my head just felt BLAH all together, like I was getting a head illness or something. My symptoms improved, and I no longer had any more of those light headed spells after that one day. I then felt the electrical surge feeling continue to surge through me, even going up and down my spinal cord. And yesterday was the first time this happened but i had the same electrical buzzing and vibrating occur in my brain. i thought i was having a stroke. I assumed it may be an electrical problem, so I shut off the mains to the entire house. On a number of occasions (probably ten or so) over the last few years, i’ve felt the following phemonema: initially it began as a strong feeling of what i can only describe as a ‘current running’ through me. it’s as if my nerve endings were all getting sensitised at the same time. Thankfully i had the ability to do that. that might sound weird. well it felt very weird. i was afraid when i got this feeling first and wondered what the hell it was about. Buzzing deep inside the body, like an electrical current going from one place to the next. In my case I’m feeling this weird sensation in my left groin area, like a vibration or rush of fluids, it happens every 5 to 10 seconds or so and lasts about 1 or 2 seconds. It feels more like really fine gurgling through an artery or vein than a nerve issue to me. I’ve got this as well, thought I was cracking up, even asked my husband to put his head to my lower stomach he thought it sounded like fluid moving about. Without knowing the source of the noise, it’s hard to know how to address it. As you’re no doubt aware, you feel the low frequency sound in your whole body, not just through your ears.
